ONLY If you are UNDER 18 you must (State Required) complete the 6 hour DETS course at our website below and (State Required) pass the learner's permit test (link all the way at the bottom) both available at our website. You can do one or both online if you wish.

After you pass both the 6 hour online course and the learners permit test, when you go to the Tax Collector/DMV office to get your picture taken and be issued the permit...you must prove who you are at a DMV office before you are issued a permit with your picture on it. Are you OVER 18?

Then you need 4-Hour TLSAE / Alcohol Drugs Accident Prevention Training (ADAPT) Course

You must be 18 years or older to take this class.

This online course (4 hours) is mandatory for all ages and must be completed at our website before taking the permit test "LIVE AND IN PERSON" only at a Tax Collector/DMV office. This 4 hour course is also required for licensed drivers under 21 years of age who have received a notice of suspension for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Upon finishing the 4 hour class, we electronically send your completion confirmation to any DMV office in Florida. Make sure you bring the correct documents to prove who you are. View DMV document requirements

Again, you CAN NOT DO the Learners Permit part on our website or any website for that matter. You must go and pass the Learners Permit Test at a TAX COLLECTOR/DMV office...that is your only option because you are over the age of 18

Florida Learner's Permit Test ONLINE FOR UNDER 18

This online class is mandatory for students under 18. If you are over 18, the learner's permit test can only be taken at the DMV.

The test contains 50 questions. Upon completing the test, you will be eligible to receive your learner's permit at a Florida DMV office. This test is approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety Motor Vehicles.
